Research shows that when people are asked about their happiest moments in life, mostly “the first moment I held my child in my arms” shows that you have given your response. The child's first look, first word and first step are the most unique memories etched into minds.
However, as time flies rapidly and the challenging conditions of life come into play, parents can forget these miraculous beginnings, finding themselves caught up in temper tantrums, conflicts, or the role of constantly lecturing.
Parent coaching; of all individuals in the family unlocking their inner potential, each other paving the way for them to derive the utmost benefit and within the household building constructive communication patterns It is a creative partnership process carried out with parents on behalf of the child.
The main purpose of parent coaching is to discover the dynamics behind the cycles that make parents feel worn out and exhausted, and to enable them to reconnect with their true selves.
With this awareness, the family structure, deep-rooted values and beliefs are addressed. The process aims to meet first the parents' own needs and then the child's developmental requirements through healthy communication models.
Constructive dialogue models are established that move away from cycles of advice and conflict, taking into account the emotional needs of both the parent and the child.
By working on the family's deeply ingrained beliefs and values, a powerful ecosystem that nurtures the potential of all family members is created.

Throughout our parent coaching journey, we were reminded once again that development begins with curiosity, and that when we nurture curiosity, we also expand children's area of learning and development. We saw that when a client sits before us, they arrive not only with themselves, but also with their childhood, parents, siblings, child, and all important relationships in their life. We evaluated the effects of building strong bonds, setting healthy boundaries, the reward-punishment approach, and how a culture of blame and fear stemming from the past shapes our current behaviours from different perspectives. Through the metaphor of Matryoshka dolls, we experienced how important it is to progress layer by layer to reach the true essence.
The Parent Coaching training conducted by Instructor Görkem at Solaunitas provides a valuable perspective not only for those who want to practise parent coaching, but also for anyone who wants to look at their own parenting more consciously. Every topic covered is supported by practical applications rather than remaining merely theoretical, and it confronts a person with themselves first.
